Spore is perhaps one of the most anticipated games ever developed in the history of the computer game industry. Nothing of its scope and scale has ever been attempted. It’s the ultimate game for designer Will Wright, the culmination of a journey he first began with SimCity so many years ago. Recently, at the Leipzig Games Convention, Sam Kennedy of 1UP.com had the opportunity to give the game a spin. The brief writeup he put together describing his experience is a good sign that the game will live up to all of the hype surrounding it.
