Found this one via Nerfbat — Acclaim is launching a project to turn an MMO player into an MMO game developer. One lucky participant in the “Top Secret” project will be awarded “A Video Game Industry Directorship“. Interesting stuff.
In a somewhat similar project (also picked up via Nerfbat) MIT has a game project that algorithmically creates a new game from player experiences. Participants will be credited as game designers on the final version. Neato.
